I am pleased to inform you of the selection of Jack Sanders as Executive Director for UCGIS. Jack comes to us with experience as an Executive Director for Home Builders Institute, Epylon Corporation, the Independent Education Services and the National Association of Independent Schools. He also works as a consultant for the Water Environment Research Foundation and has extensive background and work with universities and their faculty. Jack assumed the ED duties for UCGIS on August 2, 2004. He will be helping us get ready for the GIScience 2004 meeting and our Assembly that will be held concurrently.
