Transportation

Please make your airline reservations to arrive at Washington Dulles on Monday afternoon or evening, November 17th, and depart Thursday afternoon, November 20th, after 4pm. UCGIS will provide you an expense form at the meeting and will reimburse your ticket and cab fare from Dulles. Please choose the most economical fare available.

Once you arrive at the airport, take a cab to the National Conference Center, 18980 Upper Belmont Place, Lansdowne, Virginia. The Center is located 12 miles west of Dulles International Airport.

UCGIS will arrange transportation from the meeting to Dulles Airport at 2:30 PM on Thursday, November 20th. Please let Suzy Jampoler (703-779-7980) if you will need other arrangements. You do not need to rent a car.

UCGIS will make your hotel reservations once you have confirmed your attendance at the meeting. UCGIS will pay for the room directly.

All rooms are non-smoking, with one double bed. Reservations will be made for arrival Monday, November 17th checking out Thursday, November 20th. Each room has complimentary high speed internet connection.

The Center has a fully equipped fitness center, on-site pub, business center, and grill.

Meals

All meals are included, beginning with dinner on Monday, November 17th, and concluding with lunch Thursday, November 20th. There is 24 hour beverage service throughout the facility. There will be a group dinner on Tuesday evening.
