Dr.
Hassan Karimi from the
School
of Information Sciences at University of Pittsburgh was awarded the 2007
Intergraph Research Award for his proposal entitled, "Grid based geoprocessing."
The goal of this research is to add geoprocessing resources to the University of
Pittsburgh's existing grid computing system (PittGrid) using Intergraph
technology.
