ORBIMAGE Inc. collected new imagery on 9/10/05 of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in the Gulf Coast with its high resolution satellite OrbView-3. Some of the first satellite images seen over Gulfport, Biloxi, and Pascagoula, Mississippi are available on the website for the media and public distribution as part of their contribution to the rescue efforts.
