Announcement of New Officers
“Laxmi Ramasubramanian, Hunter College, City University of New York, took
over as Secretary from Elizabeth Wentz, Arizona State University in April of
this year. Thanks go to Libby for her valuable service to UCGIS.
A-xing Zhu of University of Wisconsin replaced Benjamin Zhan of Texas State
University as the Chair of the Research Projects Committee. Many thanks go to
Ben for his service to UCGIS.”
New Members
UCGIS now has 70 academic institutional members. We gained four more members
at this year's two meetings. The University of Missouri, North Carolina State
University and Virginia Tech joined us in February 2005, and Temple University
was invited to join at the summer 2005 assembly. We look forward to having them
become active members of UCGIS.
