The nominating committee is pleased to present the following slate for elections to be held at the winter meeting in February. Elections are held at the Council meeting, which is scheduled for February 11th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. More information on the candidates will be available soon on the UCGIS web site. The President-elect serves on the Executive Committee for one year as President-Elect, one year as President, and one year as Past-President. Board members are elected for 3-year terms, with two Board members elected each year. A one-year term Board of Directors position will also be elected because Carolyn Merry was a Board member when selected as President-Elect last winter.

Additional nominations may be made by petition signed by five delegates. Petitions should be received by the Executive Director at least three weeks before election so the additional nominations may be sent out.
As stated in the by-laws, elections shall be made at the annual meeting by secret ballot.
