His research and teaching unite his interest in regional landscape issues like
open space and land use planning with his interest in geospatial technologies.
Dr. Tulloch has been involved in UCGIS activities since the first Summer Assembly in Columbus. He has received funding through UCGIS and a Young Scholar Award. Most recently his involvement has included chairing the Nominating Committee and serving on the Policy and Legislation Committee.
Statement: Member schools and their delegates need to return home from UCGIS
with tangible results and products showing the value of the efforts of UCGIS.
I am particularly interested in seeing UCGIS continue to play an active role in
advancing GI research and scholarship especially through improved support by
federal agencies.
