Mary Lou Larson is Associate Professor of Anthropology and the Associate Director of the George C. Frison Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Wyoming.  Her NSF and NASA funded research focuses on GIS landscape approaches to the archaeology of the Rocky Mountains and the identification of ancient sediments and archaeological site formation through remote sensing. She has also consulted with the Wyoming SHPO cultural records office in the development of their data management and GIS.
