Dr. Timothy Nyerges, Department
of Geography, University of Washington.
Tim Nyerges is a Professor in the Department of Geography at the
University of Washington (UW). He received his BA with
distinction (1975), MA (1976), and Ph.D. (1980) degrees from the

Tom
Cova is an associate professor of Geography at the University of Utah where he
directs the GIScience Certificate Program and the Center for Natural &
Technological Hazards. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from the
University of Oregon and an M.A. and Ph.D in Geography from the University of

Jeremy
Mennis (PhD, Pennsylvania State University, 2001) is an Associate Professor of
Geography and Urban Studies at Temple University. Previously, he was Assistant
