Our 2016 Symposium will take place at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale,Arizona. Built in 1956 and fully restored, it's an iconic resort known for mid-century-modern style. We will be located in the heart of downtown Scottsdale, very near a rich assortment of food, drink, and cultural activities. Standard room rates will be $139 (single or double), $164 (triple) and $189 (quad). Our block reservation date has ended, but if rooms are available, they can still be acquired at these dates. Please call the hotel directly (844-993-9601) to reserve under the UCGIS group.

 The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is located about 10 miles away from the Hotel Valley Ho. There is no hotel shuttle available, but several other ground transportation options are possible (pdf of PHX to Hotel Valley Ho information).
