Session Descriptions

Our world is facing unprecedented health, economic, social, and environmental challenges, and the GIScience community has a responsibility to respond and advance solutions. This symposium will bring together scholars and practitioners to show how GIScience theories, technologies, and methods can be employed for geospatial policy and decision-making to create a healthy, economically vibrant, socially just, and environmentally sustainable world.

Registration is now OPEN for this exciting collection of presentations, papers, panels, lightning talks, and posters.  For anyone affiliated with our member institutions, registration is FREE!  And if you're a student, registration is FREE!  And it's a super low cost for the 3-day event for everyone else!

Our full set of Workshops is how open for registration too!  Space is very limited at these so if you want your slot, register today!  Access is also complimentary for UCGIS member institutions, and a heavily discounted $40 for others.

Everything will take place on our Hopin online platform.  Stay tuned for more details to be added for all of the sessions.
