Advancing GIScience-informed Policy Solutions

Monday June 7 - Friday June 11, 2021 (online)

Session Descriptions

Our world is facing unprecedented health, economic, social, and environmental challenges, and the GIScience community has a responsibility to respond and advance solutions. This symposium will bring together scholars and practitioners to show how GIScience theories, technologies, and methods can be employed for geospatial policy and decision-making to create a healthy, economically vibrant, socially just, and environmentally sustainable world.

All Session and Workshop abstracts are currently under review, and the full schedule for the Symposium will be announced in early March.
