TRELIS 2022 - Minnowbrook Conference Center, Blue Mountain Lake, New York - June 3-6

and Syracuse NY - UCGIS Symposium - June 7 - 9, 2022

TRELIS workshops are designed for women working in higher education in the geospatial sciences (GIS, remote sensing, cartography, and related mapping sciences). During the workshops, we focus on five themes: Career Trajectories & Leadership, Mentoring & Coaching, Communication & Language, Dealing with Obstacles, and Work-Life Integration, all in the context of the geospatial sciences.

This 4th and final TRELIS workshop will take place Friday June 3 through Monday June 6, 2022, at Minnowbrook, a conference center of Syracuse University on Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks.

This is being planned as an in-person event with precautions in place to prevent the spread of Covid.  Remote participation will not be possible. If conditions were to prevent the workshop from taking place, the event would be rescheduled.

Following our TRELIS event, workshop participants will participate in extended networking and professional development activities during the UCGIS Symposium that will take place immediately afterwards, from Tuesday June 7 - Thursday 9, 2022, on the Syracuse University campus in Syracuse, New York.
